Gracia Teow Cheng Mun is a Classically-trained pianist who has attained her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Music, at the School of Contemporary Music, LASALLE College of the Arts, Singapore, under the tutelage of Frank DeMeglio. In 2021, she clinched the 2nd Prize at the International Grand Music Festival 2021 and the Gold Award at the Ars Nova International Music Competition 2021. She has also had the privilege of performing at masterclasses, for international concert pianists such as Richard Ormrod and Nicholas Loh.
Gracia is a seasoned piano and music teacher who has been actively teaching music and piano since the beginning of 2018, in both one-to-one and classroom settings. She regularly hosts music appreciation workshops and piano masterclasses with a local music collective, The Music Studios. She is competent in teaching students from complete beginner to advanced levels, with most of her students ranging from ages 3 to 16. She has also had experience conducting music and movement lessons for children from 18 months to 6 years old. Her goal is to inspire young learners to love music in a safe and fun environment.
Gracia is also an accompanist with experience playing with choir, church band, solo vocalists and instrumentalists. She has also collaborated with other musicians for the production of original music.
Apart from playing the piano, Gracia has also enjoyed singing since young. Up till today, she still sings in choirs from time to time!
